Flowers from brown dirt

“Remember this: Had any other condition been better for you than the one in which you are, divine love would have put you there.” Charles Spurgeon

This is completely counter-intuitive if you’re in a less-than-desirable-place! But remember, God grows magnificently colorful flowers out of brown dirt!

Paul’s epistles were created and birthed out of the most unexpected places. Jesus was born in and lived in the most humble surroundings. Esther was adopted and raised in an obscure village. David had the challenge of being the littlest of his clan. Joseph was persistently despised as a youth. But God delights in bringing wonderfulness into all these tough situations.

Trust the Creator of beauty to create astonishing beauty out of the mundane things of your daily life and difficult hurdles you face. It’s part of how He helps us to be more than conquerors as He leads us into His wonderful triumphs.

“But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.”–Romans 8:37.

God wants us to be encouraged and to trust that He’ll produce His outcomes as we boldly walk with His inspired creativity. Daily faithfulness to love those who need our love, doing what needs to be done and diligence to complete the things that need sweet completions are also key.

We are co-workers with God, and God uses all of it–from the greatest to the smallest. God used every board Noah and his boys carefully put into place!
