The website tracks the students’ progress making it easy for the student to know where to resume their lessons. There is also a tab for the parents or teacher to track the progress of each of their students in order to see how they are progressing.
You can see the Course Report or Quiz Report on the page which is nice and very intuitive. I appreciate this as a hard-working parent. It can be hard when trying to find a good system to use and usability is vital.
You do the field trip reports online which is a huge advantage in this program because they help you keep track of what is being done not just on paper but online as well.
Built right into the module you are working through, there is a place for entering data, reports and observations. Again, you can choose to have CrossWired Science track and record this online for you, or you can do this with your own form of record keeping.
In our family, checklists are an effective tool. One of my favorite features is the built-in checklist. Once we’ve completed an activity or section for research and such, we see a little green check mark on the corner of that image. There is also a checklist down the side the shows me exactly what we’ve completed and what comes next. We can see just how things are progressing.
